UK TV station, Channel 4, features a top-ranking health show entitled Embarrassing Bodies. In the first episode of the 2009 series, Embarrassing Bodies focused on incontinence and the pelvic floor and more importantly on AQUAFLEX !
The Aquaflex Cones were used in a trial along with two other pelvic health products to help cure incontinence.
AND the clear winner was ........ Aquaflex!
Aquaflex performed the best with a 60% improvement in pelvic floor strength.
As a result, there has been an enormous worldwide demand for Aquaflex, with the manufacturers reporting that as many units were sold within one week, as would normally be sold in one year.
More about Embarrassing Bodies and Aquaflex The results came after several months of testing. In October, Embarrassing Bodies set up one of their walk-in centres in Birmingham UK, focusing on incontinence. Dr Jessen and a team of women's health professionals were giving out free pelvic floor tests and advice for those dealing with incontinence. A mass pelvic floor exercise session also took place with the help of a trampoline and a local cheer leading squad.
UK manufacturers of pelvic floor devices were asked to take a selection of women's pelvic health products to the walk-in centre. These were then given to volunteers to test over the following months. Aquaflex Cones came out on top with a 60% improvement in pelvic floor strength .
