PessaryAssistant™ is indicated to aid placement and removal of a pessary for temporary, non-surgical management of pelvic organ prolapse. Its two-ended design helps with both placement and removal of commonly used pessaries.

• Placement end: The upside-down “U” holds the middle of a folded ring pessary to help guide it during placement.

• Removal end: The “C”-shaped hook can engage the rim of a ring pessary, pass through the holes of a ring pessary with support, or assist with removal of a Gellhorn pessary by engaging its stem.

• Compatibility: Compatible with many pessaries, including ring pessaries with or without support, with Gellhorn stem removal assistance.

Cleaning & storage: Soak in warm water with mild liquid detergent for at least 2 minutes, gently clean with a soft-bristle brush for at least 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly under fresh running water for at least 2 minutes. Air dry completely. Store clean and dry, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Do not boil, autoclave, or use harsh chemicals or high-level disinfectants.

Important safety information: Use gently and do not force. Stop use if pain, bleeding, or unusual symptoms occur. Do not use a damaged, cracked, worn, torn or excessively deformed device. Follow your healthcare professional’s instructions and the instructions supplied with your pessary.
