Aquaflex Add-On weights

Get more use from your Aquaflex Pelvic Floor Exercise System with our add-on weights set, which allows you to use active weight training techniques to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles.
Exclusive to Pelvic Floor Exercise and only useable with Aquaflex, the add-on weights are a three weight set in stainless steel: 50g, 85g and 95g.

This weights set cannot be used as a stand-alone exercise aid.

The Aquaflex Pelvic Floor Exercise System contains 4 weights (1x 5g, 1 x10g, 2x 20g) which together add up to 55g.
The Add-on weight set progresses this from 50 -95g to further challenge your pelvic floor muscles.
.

Pelvic floor weights or cones like Aquaflex are sold as a way to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles without doing exercises. As health professionals we do not recommend this approach, rather we suggest that you use them as:

  • endurance training - holding them in for short periods to improve endurance of the pelvic flor muscles.
  • resistance - to feel the weight in the vagina and gently lift, hold then relax .In other words you do your pelvic floor exercises with the weights - just like you would when strengthening any other group of muscles.
  • feedback - feeling them in the vagina whilst doing functional actyivities like making the bed or emptying the dishwasher, even progressing to wearing them for a run or pilates class to give feedback on when you should be contracting the pelvic floor mmuscles ie when abdominal pressure increases.

This product is supplied with expert physiotherapy guided instructions to ensure you get the most out of your product and use it effectively. You can download the guidelines HERE

These heavier weights, used as part of an active weight training program, can provide more challenge and build stronger muscles.

All three of these weights fit in the larger Aquaflex cone.

They can be used in flexible combination with the weights supplied with a Aquaflex Pelvic Floor Exercise System, enabling further progression through stages of 60g, 65g, 70g, 75g, then 85g, then 95g.

These weights are manufactured in Australia from high quality 304 stainless steel. They are supplied with instructions, in simple environmentally friendly recyclable cardboard tube packaging, and include a velveteen drawstring bag for storage.

As with all our innovative exercise aids, users should consult a health professional before embarking on a new exercise program to ensure it is suitable for their needs.
