- In the video our Physiotherapist, Fiona, demonstrates how to set up and use your TENS machine for TTNS - Transcutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation.
External adhesive electrodes are attached to the inside ankle to gently stimulate the tibial nerve, helping to reduce urinary and faecal urgency. - If you are using your TENS machine for pelvic pain, you may find THIS VIDEO helpful to guide electrode placement for best results
The N602 Accurate-TENS model allows you to adjust the:
- pulse width (uS)
- frequency (Hz)
- timer (continuous, 15 min or 30 min)
- mode
B : burst : low and high frequency (combination of A-L and Conventional TENS)
N : conventional TENS ( high frequency) with the ability to control all parameters
M : modulated pulse width
Intensity controls ( on top of machine) and parameter controls (on front of machine) both have covers to prevent unexpected changes in any of the settings during use whilst allowing you to see at a glance what settings you are on.
