Urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse usually involve a degree of pelvic floor muscle weakness and can benefit from strengthening exercises (pelvic floor muscle training PFMT or kegels) but both have many causes and strengthening your pelvic floor isn't always the first line of treatment.

• during pregnancy - no studies have been done to ensure safety

When to be cautious using Perifit Care+

• postnatally - wait until you have been cleared by your treating medical team
• post -op. - wait until your surgeon gives you the all clear 
• vaginal atrophy- PFMT may help vaginal  tissue health however it requires medical advice for full treatment options
• during your period - it is personal choice whether you use it whilst menstruating, ensure that you thoroughly clean following use
• with an IUD- be careful when removing the Perifit Care+ from your vagina as there is a very small risk that you can dislodge your IUD
