A one-of-a-kind device invented to assist with placement & removal of vaginal ring pessaries.
Pessary Assistant was invented by Dr Chris Radpour MD who is board certified Obstetrician/Gynaecologist in Chattanooga US.
Pessary Assistant can aid in both placement & removal of vaginal ring pessaries (ring pessaries with & without support)
It can be especially useful for patients with:
- weak hand muscles
- arthritis
- poor mobility
But can be used by anyone who struggles to insert or remove their pessary.

Pessary Assistant consists of:
- A “Pessary Assist” the 'U' shaped end, which holds in place a folded ring pessary in preparation for placement.
- A “Pessary Hook” end, which helps retrieve a ring pessary from the vaginal canal.
