Amielle Comfort Vaginal Dilators Basic Pack
Amielle Comfort Basic
What is the difference between Amielle Comfort Basic, Amielle Comfort 5 Pack and Amielle Care?
Amielle Comfort and 5 pack are essentially the same, the difference being that the 5 pack has an extra dilator - the smaller size 0 - and comes with a storage purse and tube of Aquagel lubricating jelly. The dilator shape is the same, tapered on the end. These are more suited to those requiring progressive vaginal dilation, for example vaginismus. Amielle Care is a 4 dilator pack, like the Basic, but is a different shape to Comfort and 5 pack . The end is squared off and is more specifically designed for maintaining vaginal shape and length following radiation therapy for any cancers in the pelvic region.
We are able to offer a basic version of the Amielle Comfort Vaginal Dilators at a lower price as they are supplied without the accessories (storage purse, lubricant) and with 4 sizes.
Amielle Comfort Vaginal Dilators Basic Pack are supplied in a sealed plastic bag. They are easily cleaned in soapy water, or Milton solution if preferred, and we recommend cleaning before use.
Amielle Comfort Vaginal Dilators are a long-established favourite dilator set, internationally recognised as a user-friendly and good value vaginal product for women suffering from vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia and related conditions.
Amielle Comfort Vaginal Dilators offer an effective way for women to take an active role in their treatment in the privacy and comfort of their own home. Designed in conjunction with psychosexual therapists, Amielle Comfort dilators help you to familiarise yourself with your body and help to build confidence at a pace that best suits you.
With four graduated sizes available in the set, you are able to take control of your treatment until you feel able to progress to natural penetration if that is your goal, or for medical examinations if that is the treatment goal.
Produced and distributed by a major British medical manufacturer, using medical grade plastics, they are a quality product that meets appropriate standards for vaginal use. Amielle Comfort Vaginal Dilators are widely recommended by clinicians and health professionals such as doctors , nurses and physiotherapists.
Basic user information is provided in the instruction leaflet. Women who need more guidance in using Amielle Comfort vaginal dilators for vaginismus, vulvodynia, dyspareunia or related conditions are encouraged to discuss their needs with their appropriate health professional. All sets are supplied with our own instruction sheet , written by our women's health physiotherapist who is experienced in treating women using dilator therapy.
If you are looking for a dilator set for use after gynaecological surgery or gynaecological cancer treatment, Femmax or Amielle Care are specifically designed for this purpose and may be a more appropriate choice for you.
