The Pericalm is a dual channel unit which means that appropriately positioned external electrodes can be used at the same time as a vaginal or anal electrode. External electrodes can also be used instead of vaginal or anal electrodes for some conditions.

The Incontrol Micro is a single channel unit, so users can choose to use either the vaginal probe or external electrodes at one time.
