Description
The Juno comes with manufacturer's instructions (see under Specifications), attractive packaging and a lilac gauze carry bag.
If you stand in front of a mirror whilst exercising in line with the manufacturer's instructions, you will see the Juno visibly "lift" when you perform a contraction, providing you with reassuring visual feedback. Every Juno is accompanied by a simple guide to checking that you are contracting your pelvic floor muscles correctly before you begin your exercise program.
The Juno comes from a range of products designed and marketed by the Berman Center, a US sex therapy centre founded by Dr Laura Berman. It is extremely popular in the US.
For information on the recommended frequency, number of repetitions and duration of your exercise program, check out the current guidelines on how to exercise your pelvic floor muscles.
Although the manufacturer's instructions suggest working from the smaller, lighter ball to the larger heavier ball, we believe that the Juno offers more challenge if used differently. The weight of the Juno remains the same, regardless of which ball is inserted. Therefore, the greatest challenge to the pelvic floor muscles is to hold the Juno with your vaginal muscles only (ie no hand support) whilst in a standing position, with only the smallest end of the Juno inserted. At this point your muscles are holding and lifting the full weight of the Juno, but are required to clench very tightly to keep the 1.25cm small ball in place.
Exercising with the Juno in this way requires care and experience, as the device may break if dropped onto a hard floor. It should definitely only be attempted after a long-term regular exercise regime as outlined in the manufacturer's instructions above.

Juno is not manufactured under sterile conditions and we therefore recommend cleaning before initial use.
