Isis Beginner Pelvic Exerciser by Dr Laura Berman

AUD$39.95

Quantity:

A small pelvic floor exerciser, made of hard translucent pink Lucite, with a seamless and sleek design. Its shape and size makes it particularly useful to younger or less experienced women with a smaller vagina. It may also suit women who experience discomfort during penetration as an alternative to, or as a starting point before trying, a full set of dilators.

Description

The Isis comes with clear instructions (see under Specifications) incorporated in illustrations on the pack, attractive packaging and a lilac gauze carry bag.

If you stand in front of a mirror whilst exercising in line with the manufacturer's instructions, you will see the Isis visibly "lift" when you perform a contraction, providing you with reassuring visual feedback. Every Isis is accompanied by a simple guide to checking that you are contracting your pelvic floor muscles correctly before you begin your exercise program.

The Isis comes from a range of products designed and marketed by the Berman Center, a US sex therapy centre founded by Dr Laura Berman.

As with all our innovative exercise aids, potential users are advised to consult a health professional before embarking on a new exercise program to ensure it is suitable for their needs.

What the Berman Center say about their product range: "The Berman Center Intimate Accessories Collection was designed by women for women to give you and your partner exactly what you need to optimize your sex life. Dr. Laura Berman and her team of clinicians have worked with thousands of women through the years and have listened to what they want and need. This line is designed around that feedback and is focused on what works for women. Pleasing and ergonomic designs, discreet packaging, quiet devices, and clear instruction for use are all hallmarks of the Berman Center Intimate Accessories."

Manufacturer's recommendations
for use:

Use internally. Insert gradually over time and use according to your comfort level. To strengthen pf muscles, insert Isis as far as comfortable and squeeze your vaginal muscles around it. You may use it lying down, and eventually try to use your muscles to hold it in while standing up. Use with a water, oil or silicone-based lubricant.

For information on the recommended frequency, number of repetitions and duration of your exercise program, check out the current guidelines on how to exercise your pelvic floor muscles.

Exercising with the Isis in a standing position requires care and experience, as the device may break if dropped onto a hard floor. It should only be attempted after a program of regular exercise as outlined in the manufacturer's instructions above.

Isis is not manufactured under sterile conditions and we therefore recommend cleaning before initial use.
